Unity had won five straight road games and Elizabeth Jerrick did her part to make it six on Saturday. The Eagles skirted past the Altoona Railroaders 2-1 with plenty of help from Jerrick, who had 12 digs and five assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 20 times she's played.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Unity who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 15-9.

Unity's win bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Altoona, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Unity beat Altoona by a score of 2-1 later that day.
