Hays is 8-1-1 against Liberal since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Indians will take on the Redskins at 6:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Hays didn't have quite enough to beat Dodge City and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Hays have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Liberal waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 7-0 shutout. Liliana Guy was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Liberal's lineup was just a bit different on Tuesday as Emily Vasquez got a bit more time on the pitch (30 vs. her season average of 15). Vasquez made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Liberal pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three contests. As for Hays, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Hays came out on top in a nail-biter against Liberal when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Redskins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
