Flag Football Game Preview: Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs vs. Leyden Eagles

The Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs are taking a road trip to face off against the Leyden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will be strutting in after a win while Leyden will be coming in after a loss.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They managed a 31-27 victory over Downers Grove South. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Berwyn/Cicero Morton's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Saniya Knazze was nothing short of spectacular: she rushed for 114 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of her passes.

Meanwhile, Leyden fell victim to Addison Trail and their airtight defense on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 37-0 loss at the hands of the Blazers.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton moved to 6-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Leyden, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
