The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats will square off against the Palmer Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scurry-Rosser will be strutting in after a win while Palmer will be coming in after a defeat.

Scurry-Rosser is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since February 17th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Rice 8-7. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Madison Lumpkin was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, Jaycee Rhoades was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Alanah Greene was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Peyton Yates made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Marti Williamson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 10-13-1. As for Scurry-Rosser, their victory bumped their record up to 9-16.
