Football Recap: Littleton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Littleton extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-6. They took a 27-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kennedy Commanders. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Commanders from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Littleton lost, don't look at Kai Durica. Despite the final result, he rushed for 56 yards and one TD, and also threw for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

As for Kennedy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games.

Kennedy can attribute much of their success to Marcelis Allen, who threw for 263 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground. What's more, Allen posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Littleton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-6 defeat against Lutheran on the 30th. As for Kennedy, they have also already played their next game, a 21-0 loss against Standley Lake on the 30th.
