Elmore County lost to Stanhope Elmore back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 6-2. Elmore County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elmore County's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Stanhope Elmore, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

Coming up, Elmore County is taking a road trip to square off against Horseshoe Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stanhope Elmore, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Chilton County at 7:00 p.m.
