Volleyball Recap: Matanzas Takes a Loss

Matanzas was the 2-1 winner over Bartram Trail when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears on Saturday.

Matanzas' loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Bartram Trail, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Matanzas will face off against Father Lopez at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bartram Trail, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Spruce Creek on the 4th.
