Glendale Prep Academy came into Friday's game looking for another win against Round Valley, but Addison Poston wouldn't allow it. The Elks simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Griffins 67-29 for which the team can thank Poston, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 19 times she's played.

Round Valley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 37 points this season. As for Glendale Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Round Valley will face off against Seton Catholic at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Glendale Prep Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Blue Ridge at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
