Basketball Recap: Living Grace Christian Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Living Grace Christian kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 70-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets. If the N/A were looking for revenge after losing 74-46 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Landen Custis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Chapelgate Christian Academy, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave Custis a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Bryson Milledge, who posted 14 points and three steals.

Chapelgate Christian Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6.

Living Grace Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvary Baptist Church Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 13, 2025. Chapelgate Christian Academy and Century will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on December 27th.
