Football Recap: Boyd Finds Home Field Redemption Against Callisburg + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Boyd, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 47-35 win over the Callisburg Wildcats on Friday. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 39-12 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Boyd's defensive line and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Maddox Parks, Garrett Slimp, and Aiden Young, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Callisburg's side was Parks, who picked up a sack, forced two fumbles, and made 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Boyd's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Callisburg, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Boyd and Callisburg will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Yellowjackets are set to challenge their familiar foe Ponder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Callisburg will square off against rival Leonard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
