Soccer Recap: Lyon County Takes a Loss

Lyon County lost against Hopkinsville back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lyons came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-0. That's two games in a row now that Lyon County have lost by exactly eight goals.

Lyon County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hopkinsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1-1.

Looking ahead, Lyon County will head out on the road to face off against Owensboro Catholic at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hopkinsville, they will host Madisonville-North Hopkins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
