Soccer Recap: Taylorsville Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Taylorsville was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of the Granger Lancers by a score of 2-1. Taylorsville were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Granger apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Taylorsville's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Granger, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Taylorsville will venture away from home to face off against Kearns at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylorsville's defense better be ready for this one: Kearns has averaged an impressive 4.1 goals per game this season. As for Granger, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Mountain View on the 22nd.
