Basketball Recap: Augustine Prep Comes Up Short

Augustine Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 102-61 defeat at the hands of the Dominican Knights. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Knights are ranked 77th).

Augustine Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Dominican, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Augustine Prep will face off against St. Joseph at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dominican, they will square off against Racine Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Racine Lutheran will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Dominican surely won't give up without a fight.
