After flying high against Ludlow last Thursday, Bellevue came back down to earth. The Bellevue Tigers lost 67-47 to the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds on Saturday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Bellevue's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9. As for Newport Central Catholic, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Bellevue will welcome Beechwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newport Central Catholic, they will head out to take on Ludlow at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
