Recap: Roseville Tigers vs. Mountain House Mustangs
The Roseville Tigers had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Mountain House 30-27. The victory was just what Roseville needed coming off of a 33-8 defeat in their prior match.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roseville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joel Bradley, who picked up 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Susnara, who threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns.
When it comes to explaining why Mountain House lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Amare Brooks. Despite the final result, he rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 164 yards and a touchdown.
Roseville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Mountain House, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Roseville will head out on the road to face off against Vanden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vanden will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. Mountain House does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
