Basketball Recap: Batavia Comes Up Short

Batavia was the 68-50 winner over Pittsford when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Batavia Blue Devils fell to the Pittsford Panthers 72-66.

Batavia's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Pittsford, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Looking ahead, Batavia will square off against Greece Odyssey at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Greece Odyssey knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Batavia likes a good challenge. Pittsford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
