Basketball Game Preview: Newton Local Indians vs. Arcanum Trojans

Newton Local hasn't had much luck against Arcanum recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Newton Local Indians will be playing at home against the Arcanum Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Newton Local has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Last Saturday, it was close, but Newton Local sidestepped Southeastern Local for a 46-44 win.

Meanwhile, Arcanum waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 48-32 victory over the Blazers.

Newton Local's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Arcanum, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
