Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Annandale). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mount Vernon Majors on Friday, sneaking past 6-5. The win was nothing new for Annandale as they're now sitting on four straight.

Annandale's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3-1. As for Mount Vernon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Annandale will face off against Falls Church at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Annandale will need to watch out since Falls Church have now posted at least four goals in their last four games. Mount Vernon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
