Volleyball Recap: Regis Jesuit's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past + How To Watch

Regis Jesuit can bid farewell to their six-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top against the ThunderRidge Grizzlies by a score of 3-1. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 25-9.

Emme Phillips had a dynamite game, getting 19 digs and two aces. Those 19 digs gave her a new career-high.

Phillips wasn't the only good servers: Regis Jesuit was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.

Regis Jesuit's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for ThunderRidge, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
