Basketball Recap: River Ridge Triumphs

Pearl City came into Thursday's match looking for another win against River Ridge, but Damon Dittmar wouldn't allow it. The River Ridge Wildcats walked away with a 57-47 victory over the Pearl City Wolves on Thursday thanks in part to Dittmar, who went 5 of 12 en route to 20 points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Nate Haas, who posted two points along with ten boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (three).

River Ridge's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Pearl City, they moved to 12-9 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Ridge will take on Dakota at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dakota will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something River Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pearl City, they will square off against Annawan at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
