Volleyball Recap: Prairie Farm Starts Season with Victory at Home

Prairie Farm took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They skirted past the Hayward Hurricanes 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Prairie Farm who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 15-10.

Hayward dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Prairie Farm will welcome Turtle Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hayward, they will head out to face off against St. Croix Central at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
