Softball Preview: Genoa Area Comets vs. Clyde Fliers
The Genoa Area Comets are taking a road trip to take on the Clyde Fliers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Genoa Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Things were looking good for Genoa Area after they put the first run on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 8-3 to Otsego. The Comets have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Izzy Britt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Mya Colvin was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two doubles.
