Saranac Lake is 9-1 against AuSable Valley since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Red Storm will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Saranac Lake is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Peru just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Nighthawks by a score of 3-2.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Saranac Lake sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-12, 23-25, 25-18, 20-25, 16-14.

Meanwhile, AuSable Valley came up short against Plattsburgh on Monday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15, 25-11.

AuSable Valley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Saranac Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Saranac Lake took their win against AuSable Valley when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Red Storm repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
