Volleyball Game Preview: DeLand-Weldon Eagles vs. Fisher Bunnies + How To Watch

The DeLand-Weldon Eagles will square off against the Fisher Bunnies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. DeLand-Weldon will be strutting in after a victory while Fisher will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, DeLand-Weldon was able to grind out a solid win over Calvary Christian Academy, taking the game 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

DeLand-Weldon never let Calvary Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 27-25.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Fisher's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lexington.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-19.

DeLand-Weldon's win bumped their record up to 12-16. As for Fisher, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

DeLand-Weldon couldn't quite get it done against Fisher when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
