Softball Recap: Robinson Takes a Loss

Robinson made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Springfield, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rams fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rams have suffered since April 15, 2024.

Izabella Montanez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs. Emerson Hersey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Robinson now has a losing record of 9-10. As for West Springfield, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

As of now, neither Robinson nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
