Basketball Recap: Wasatch Academy Comes Up Short

Wasatch Academy was the 71-63 winner over AZ Compass Prep National when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wasatch Academy Tigers fell 60-53 to the AZ Compass Prep National Dragons on Thursday.

Wasatch Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for AZ Compass Prep National, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Wasatch Academy and Link Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Link Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches. As for AZ Compass Prep National, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Montverde Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th.
