Basketball Recap: Canarsie Extends Winning Streak to Four

Canarsie came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the St. Bernard Vikings by a score of 70-62.

Canarsie has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for St. Bernard, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-4.

Canarsie will head out to challenge Nazareth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Nazareth knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Canarsie likes a good challenge. As for St. Bernard, they will take on Brentwood School in a tournament on Saturday.
