Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Unionville-Sebewaing). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bad Axe Hatchets an 18-0 shutout on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Unionville-Sebewaing and bumps their season record up to 3-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Bad Axe, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Unionville-Sebewaing is taking a road trip to challenge Reese at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bad Axe, they will host All Saints Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
