Softball Recap: West Milford Takes a Loss

West Milford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Passaic Valley Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in April.

West Milford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brodie Loveland, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

West Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Passaic Valley, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West Milford will take on rival Lakeland Regional at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Passaic Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Fair Lawn at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
