Soccer Recap: Franklin Community Comes Up Short

Franklin Community managed to keep up with Plainfield until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Grizzly Cubs lost 7-0 to the Quakers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Franklin Community of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Franklin Community's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Plainfield, they now have a winning record of 7-6-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Franklin Community will take on Columbus North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plainfield, they will face off against Decatur Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
