Basketball Recap: Scott's Branch Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Scott's Branch lost against Manning back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monarchs.

Lovell Stevenson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds for Manning. Stevenson has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times he's played. Jordan Hayward was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Scott's Branch now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Manning, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.

Coming up, Scott's Branch will head out on the road to square off against Lake City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manning, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Myrtle Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
