Softball Recap: Mountain View Prep Takes a Loss

Mountain View Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Palmetto Mustangs, falling 13-3.

Mountain View Prep saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bella Gowan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Gowan also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Mountain View Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Palmetto, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Mountain View Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-3 win against Pendleton on the 12th. As for Palmetto, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-4 victory against Powdersville on the 11th.
