Softball Preview: Scituate Spartans vs. St. Raphael Academy Saints

Scituate hasn't had much luck against St. Raphael Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Spartans are taking a road trip to challenge the Saints at 4:00 p.m. Scituate is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

On Sunday, Scituate got the win against St. Mary Academy-Bay View by a conclusive 14-4.

Isabella Rotondo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. In other batting news, Katelyn Chatelle was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over eight innings pitched.
