Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Fellowship Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Walker Wolverines by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Paladins' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Luke Stefl made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Reid Harke, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one stolen base.

Fellowship Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Walker, they moved to 12-16 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

While Fellowship Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
