Volleyball Game Preview: Midland Bulldogs vs. San Angelo Central Bobcats

The Midland Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the San Angelo Central Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Midland is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

On Tuesday, Midland made easy work of Midland Legacy and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Midland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-22.

Meanwhile, San Angelo Central beat Odessa 3-1 on Tuesday.

While San Angelo Central might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Odessa scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-27, 25-21, 25-23.

Midland's record now sits at 33-8. As for San Angelo Central, their record is now 16-14.

Everything went Midland's way against San Angelo Central when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Midland made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
