Soccer Recap: Bainbridge Takes a Loss

If Bainbridge was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Cook last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bainbridge Bearcats took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valwood Valiants on Tuesday. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Valiants apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Addison Hill wasn't going to let Valwood walk away unscathed as she scored both of Bainbridge's goals, bringing her season total up to nine goals.

Bainbridge now has a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Bainbridge will face off against Dothan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Valwood will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Berrien at 5:00 p.m. on March 4th.
