Baseball Recap: Northwest Webster Comes Up Short

Northwest Webster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Alta-Aurelia Warriors, falling 22-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 12-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Northwest Webster's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Alta-Aurelia, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Webster will venture away from home to face off against Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alta-Aurelia, they will head out to square off against West Bend-Mallard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
