Recap: Morrow Mustangs vs. Lovejoy Wildcats
The Morrow Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season. They blew past Lovejoy 73-42 on the road. The win was just what Morrow needed coming off of a 76-48 loss in their prior contest.
Morrow's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikayla Dunston, who scored 33 points along with nine rebounds. The contest was Dunston's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was J?Bionn Robinson, who scored 16 points along with eight steals.
Morrow pushed their record up to 13-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.67 points. As for Lovejoy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Morrow will head out on the road to face off against Quality Education Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lovejoy, they will play host again and welcome Alcovy, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Alcovy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
