Chase Ruth put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Monday. He struck out five batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley is 8-3 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-4 otherwise.
