Soccer Recap: South Bend Riley Comes Up Short

South Bend Riley lost against Elkhart Christian Academy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats came up short against the Eagles, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, South Bend Riley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Elkhart Christian Academy are ranked 30th).

South Bend Riley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9-1. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. South Bend Riley will head out to face off against South Bend Saint Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Mishawaka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
