Soccer Recap: Rancho Bernardo Takes a Loss

Rancho Bernardo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mission Hills Grizzlies. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 50th).

Rancho Bernardo's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-3. As for Mission Hills, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Bernardo will take on Poway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rancho Bernardo is facing Poway at the right time seeing as Poway is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Mission Hills, they will face off against Del Norte at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Norte will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mission Hills surely won't give up without a fight.
