Basketball Recap: Eastern Tech Victorious

Perry Hall typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Eastern Tech proved too difficult a challenge. They escaped with a win against the Perry Hall Gators by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mavericks also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastern Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Matthew Foley, who went 6 for 15 en route to 20 points along with five assists and five steals. Foley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Singh Prabhnoor, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards.

Eastern Tech's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Perry Hall, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.

It'll be Eastside v. Westside when Eastern Tech and Western Tech & Environmental Science meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Perry Hall, they will face off against Patapsco on Friday.
