Flag Football Recap: Druid Hills' Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Thursday just wasn't the day for Druid Hills's offense. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newton Rams on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 32 points in the game before, the Red Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Druid Hills' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Newton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Druid Hills will welcome Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newton, they will face off against Peachtree Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Rams 9.2, the Lions 8.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
