Perry Central came out on top against Heidelberg on Friday thanks in part to Jace Hill's efforts. Hill scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Looking ahead, Hill and Perry Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Poplarville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Perry Central hasn't beaten Poplarville recently, having gone 0-5 since April of 2015.
