Baseball Recap: Quanah Comes Up Short

Quanah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Memphis Cyclones, falling 11-1.

Quanah's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Memphis, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quanah will head out to challenge Floydada at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Floydada has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.18 runs per game on average), something Quanah will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Memphis, they will challenge Lockney at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
