Football Recap: Fairview Falls Short of Scottsboro in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fairview can now relate to. They fell just short of the Scottsboro Wildcats by a score of 16-14 on Thursday. The loss was the Aggies' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Fairview still got an impressive performance from Jake Harper, who rushed for 133 yards and one TD. Harper's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 133 rushing yards.

Fairview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Conner Scott and Zayden Cruce.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fairview fell to 12-1. As for Scottsboro, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Fairview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scottsboro, they will square off against Moody at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
