             The Yazoo City Indians will hit the road for the first time this season to  square off against  the Brandon Bulldogs  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
 Yazoo City is leaving town to face Brandon after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Yazoo City fell to Callaway  58-53.
 Meanwhile, Brandon had to hit the road for their first game and  it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of Brookhaven by a score of  51-48 on Tuesday.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Braylon Barnes, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and nine  rebounds. His evening made it four games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points.  Braelyn Bailey was another key player,  posting 11 points plus seven  rebounds.
 Yazoo City strolled past Brandon when the teams last played  back in November of 2023 by a score of  60-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Yazoo City since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
