            Football Recap: Mitchell Marauders vs. Alameda Pirates        
        
		
        
        
            Mitchell had lost three straight at home, but  on Thursday they dropped down to 0-6 to make it four. They were dealt  a  48-0 defeat at the hands of the Alameda Pirates. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Marauders of the  40-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
As for Alameda, they moved to 2-4 with that  win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Alameda had a senior duo take command as  Edwin Arroyo gained 122 total yards and three touchdowns and  Christopher Garcia picked up 117 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns. Arroyo also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making seven total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defending one pass.
 Mitchell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  2-0  defeat against D'Evelyn on the 16th. As for Alameda, they will take on The Classical Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 17th. The Titans' defense has only allowed 13.8  points per game  this season, so the Pirates' offense will have their work cut out for them.
