Football Recap: Mitchell Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Mitchell's offense. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Alameda Pirates. If the Marauders were looking for revenge after losing 40-0 to the Pirates when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mitchell dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Alameda, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mitchell is set to take on their familiar foe D'Evelyn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Alameda will challenge rival The Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
