Basketball Recap: Abundant Life Piles Up the Points Against Christian Ministries Academy

Abundant Life won the last time they faced Christian Ministries Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Abundant Life Owls took their contest with ease, bagging a 47-16 win over the Christian Ministries Academy Conquerors.

Abundant Life got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rosie Townsend out in front who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amber Kahler, who put up 11 points.

Abundant Life's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Christian Ministries Academy, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abundant Life will venture away from home to face off against Arkansas Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian Ministries Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Christian Ministries Academy is facing Trinity Christian at the right time seeing as Trinity Christian is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
